Tuchel: Keine Erklärung für zahlreiche Verletzungen
Bayern Münchens Trainer Thomas Tuchel hat keine Erklärung für die zahlreichen Verletzungen seiner Stars in dieser Saison. "Fakt ist, dass es einfach zu viel ist und dass es uns schon durch das ganze Jahr begleitet. Es zieht sich durch die ganze Saison durch. Es findet auf vielen Ebenen eine Ursachenforschung statt, aber wir haben die Antwort noch nicht", sagte Tuchel vor dem Bundesligaspiel gegen den 1. FC Köln (15.30 Uhr/Sky).
Neuestes "Opfer" ist Nationalspieler Serge Gnabry, der sich beim 2:2 im Viertelfinal-Hinspiel in der Champions League beim FC Arsenal einen Muskelfaserriss im Oberschenkel zuzog und erneut ausfällt. Auch Leroy Sane ist gegen Köln wegen einer hartnäckigen Schambeinverletzung nicht einsatzfähig.
Im Laufe der letzten Monate hatte es zudem unter anderem schon Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies, Kingsley Coman, Raphael Guerreiro, Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano, Joshua Kimmich oder Noussair Mazraoui erwischt. Nur Routinier Thomas Müller, Joker Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting und Toptorjäger Harry Kane standen immer zur Verfügung.
Klar sei deshalb, so Tuchel, dass diese Misere "massiven Einfluss" auf die Saison habe und es "kompliziert" mache. "Und es hört nicht auf. Die ganze Zeit denkt man, wir sind durch das Wellental durch." Die Belastung, fügte er an, sei jedoch "nicht der Faktor. Ich sehe die Belastung nicht so hoch für uns, wir sind es auch gewohnt, viel zu spielen."
Der FC Bayern habe eine "hoch qualifizierte" medizinische Abteilung mit Ärzten, Wissenschaftlern und Physiotherapeuten, betonte der Coach. Und alle seien "natürlich super unzufrieden, aber alle geben täglich ihr Bestes".
