O PSV Eindhoven conquistou neste domingo (5) o seu 25º título do campeonato holandês, após a vitória por 4 a 2 sobre o Sparta de Roterdã.
Os jogadores comandados pelo técnico Peter Bosz, que sofreram apenas uma derrota na Eredivisie nesta temporada, precisavam de um ponto para se sagrarem campeões.
Faltando duas rodadas para o fim da temporada, o time tem agora 87 pontos, 12 a mais que seu perseguidor mais próximo, o Feyenoord, que ainda enfrenta o PEC Zwolle neste domingo.
Esta temporada tem sido histórica para os 'Rood-witten' (Vermelhos e Brancos) no campeonato holandês, com apenas uma derrota diante do NEC Nimegue em março e um total de 107 gols marcados, com uma média de 3,3 gols por jogo.
