Eberl verlässt Gladbach nach 23 Jahren
Max Eberl und Fußball-Bundesligist Borussia Mönchengladbach gehen nach SID-Informationen nach 23 Jahren getrennte Wege. Eberl war im Januar 1999 zunächst als Spieler zur Borussia gekommen, im Oktober 2008 übernahm er den Posten des Sportdirektors und führte Gladbach dreimal in die Champions League. Eine Bestätigung gab es zunächst nicht.
Eberl war nach Michael Zorc (Borussia Dortmund) und Rudi Völler (Bayer Leverkusen) dienstältester Manager der Bundesliga.
