Kohfeldt sieht Neuzugang Kruse in der Team-Hierarchie "weit oben"
Trainer Florian Kohfeldt vom Fußball-Bundesligisten VfL Wolfsburg traut Neuzugang Max Kruse direkt eine Führungsrolle zu. Kruse werde "natürlich auch in der Hierarchie bei uns ziemlich weit oben eingeordnet", sagte der 39-Jährige bei Sky. Der Stürmer "ist ein extrem gestandener Bundesligaspieler mit extrem viel Erfahrung".
Zudem sei Kruse, der am Sonntag von Union Berlin zu den Wölfen gewechselt war, "stressresistent" und wolle "auch am Sonntag, wenn kein Training, sondern Spiel ist, den Ball haben" und Fußball spielen. Zudem organisiere und rede der 33-Jährige viel auf dem Spielfeld.
Ob Kruse bereits im kommenden Heimspiel gegen Greuther Fürth am Sonntag (17.30 Uhr/DAZN) zusammen mit Neuzugang Jonas Wind beginnen wird, ließ Kohfeldt offen: "Das ist nicht auszuschließen."
