Nach EM-Verletzung: Hegering fehlt Wolfsburg "einige Wochen"
Vize-Europameisterin Marina Hegering (32) verpasst nach ihrem Wechsel zum VfL Wolfsburg große Teile der Vorbereitung auf die kommende Saison der Fußball-Bundesliga. Die Abwehrspielerin fällt mit einer Fußverletzung, die sie im EM-Finale gegen England (1:2 n.V.) erlitten hatte, "für einige Wochen" aus. Das teilte der Klub am Samstag mit.
Ob Hegering zum Saisonstart am 16. September gegen die SGS Essen zur Verfügung steht, sei "vom Heilungsverlauf abhängig". Trotz der Verletzung im linken Fuß werde Hegering, die von Bayern München zum Meister nach Wolfsburg gewechselt ist, mit ins Trainingslager nach Harsewinkel fahren und dort ihre Reha absolvieren.
