Fischer bleibt Präsident von Eintracht Frankfurt
Mit großer Mehrheit ist der seit 2000 amtierende Peter Fischer als Präsident von Europa-League-Sieger Eintracht Frankfurt bestätigt worden. Bei der Mitgliederversammlung am Montagabend erhielt der 66 Jahre alte Unternehmer 420 Ja-Stimmen, bei 106 Nein-Stimmen gab es außerdem 99 Enthaltungen.
Fischer geht in seine achte Amtszeit, einen Gegenkandidaten gab es nicht. Er sei "unglaublich stolz und glücklich über dieses Ergebnis", sagte der alte und neue Präsident: "Ich weiß um die große Verantwortung, fühle mich aber bestärkt, die angesprochenen Ziele mit meinem Team und den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern anzugehen."
