2. Liga: St. Pauli sechs Spiele sieglos
Der FC St. Pauli gewinnt in der 2. Fußball-Bundesliga nicht mehr. Die Hamburger erkämpften am Samstagabend in einem größtenteils langatmigen Spiel zwar ein achtbares 0:0 gegen den 1. FC Heidenheim, sind aber seit Mitte August in sechs Begegnungen sieglos. Die Gäste liegen zwei Punkte hinter dem dritten Tabellenplatz.
St. Pauli war vor 29.242 Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauern am Millerntor die Verunsicherung deutlich anzumerken. Zwar kamen die Gastgeber anfangs mehrfach vor das gegnerische Tor, aber das beste Beispiel gab Stürmer Etienne Amneyido, der den Ball freistehend völlig falsch traf (17.). Heidenheim war besser gestartet, beschränkte sich aber danach auf geordnete Abwehrarbeit.
Allerdings hätte Andreas Geipl (23.) für sein rücksichtsloses Einsteigen gegen St. Paulis Außenverteidiger Manolis Saliakas auch die Rote Karte statt nur Gelb sehen können. Video-Assistent Sören Storks griff von Köln aus nicht ein.
Aus der Halbzeitpause kam Heidenheim mit mehr Offensivdrang, Adrian Beck (54.) traf aus der Drehung die Querlatte. Auf der anderen Seite scheiterte Amenyido in einem schwachen Zweitliga-Spiel wieder freistehend, er stand aber ohnehin im Abseits (70.).
