Asta rettet Fürth einen Punkt in Regensburg
Bundesliga-Absteiger SpVgg Greuther Fürth hat auf dem Weg aus dem Tabellenkeller einen herben Rückschlag knapp vermieden. Die Franken erkämpften am elften Zweitliga-Spieltag immerhin ein 2:2 (1:1) bei Jahn Regensburg und rückten durch das dritte Spiel in Serie ohne Niederlage vorerst auf Platz 16 vor.
Damian Michalski (34.) brachte Fürth in Führung, Kaan Caliskaner (42.) glich für den SSV Jahn aus und erzielte nach dem Wechsel auch das 2:1 (62.). Simon Asta (75.) rettete den Gästen zumindest einen Punkt - den neunten in dieser Spielzeit. Regensburg (12 Punkte) ist Elfter.
Regensburg, das in den fünf Heimspielen zuvor viermal kein Tor und einmal sechs Tore (0:6 gegen Karlsruhe) kassiert hatte, begann vor 10.716 Zuschauern engagiert und hatte mehr vom Spiel gegen biedere Gäste. Dementsprechend überraschend ging Fürth in Führung, als Michalski nach einem Freistoß aus kurzer Distanz abstaubte. Aber auch Regensburg traf nach einem Standard, Caliskaner war nach einer Ecke mit dem Oberschenkel erfolgreich.
In Halbzeit zwei war Fürth zunächst aktiver, doch wieder jubelte Caliskaner - auch diesmal in bester Vollstreckermanier mit einem trockenen Schuss aus sieben Metern. Fürth zeigte Moral, zum Auftakt einer hitzigen Schlussphase traf Asta mit einer schönen Direktabnahme.
