Senta Berger hat Peter Simonischek als uneitlen Kollegen in Erinnerung
Die Schauspielerin Senta Berger hat ihren kürzlich verstorbenen Freund Peter Simonischek als uneitlen Kollegen in Erinnerung. "Ich denke an einen Mann, der warmherzig und humorvoll ist", sagte die 82-Jährige der Illustrierten "Bunte" laut Vorabmeldung vom Dienstag. Simonischek sei ein Mensch gewesen, "der wunderbar erzählen, aber auch zuhören" konnte.
Über Erfolge habe er sich gefreut, aber er sei völlig uneitel gewesen. "Er hätte jeden Grund gehabt, ein bisschen eitel zu sein", sagte Berger über ihren verstorbenen Kollegen. Simonischek sei ein unglaublich vielseitiger Schauspieler gewesen, auf der Bühne, im Film. Er habe sich zudem, "anders als viele in unserem Metier, nicht ernstgenommen".
Der Österreicher Simonischek war in der vergangenen Woche mit 76 Jahren in Wien gestorben. Der Schauspieler war aus zahlreichen Theaterinszenierungen und Filmen wie "Toni Erdmann" bekannt. Er war Ensemble- und später Ehrenmitglied des Wiener Burgtheaters, spielte einige Jahre lang auch den "Jedermann" bei den Salzburger Festspielen.
