Berliner Polizei meldet mögliche Sichtung von entlaufener Löwin
Eine zwischen Berlin und Potsdam offenbar entlaufene Löwin soll gesichtet worden sein. "Es gab eine mögliche Sichtung des Tiers im Süden Berlins nahe der Stadtgrenze zu Brandenburg", teilte die Berliner Polizei am Donnerstagnachmittag mit. Das Veterinäramt und der Stadtjäger seinen zum Sichtungsort alarmiert worden und würden in Kürze eintreffen.
Nach dem Tier wird seit der Nacht zum Donnerstag mit einem Großaufgebot gesucht. Augenzeugen sahen das Tier zunächst in der brandenburgischen Gemeinde Kleinmachnow gesehen. Die Polizei bestätigte später, dass es sich bei dem Wildtier ersten Einschätzungen nach tatsächlich um eine Löwin handeln soll.
Unklar war noch, woher das Wildtier gekommen sein könnte. Die Beamten nahmen deshalb Ermittlungen zur Herkunft auf. Aktuell vermisse jedoch kein Tierpark oder Zoo, keine Tierschutzeinrichtung und kein Zirkus ein solches Tier, hieß es.
