Wetterdienst erwartet eher milden Winter in Deutschland
Der Deutsche Wetterdienst (DWD) rechnet in Deutschland mit einem eher milden Winter. Das teilte der DWD am Donnerstag in Offenbach unter Bezug auf Modellrechnungen für die Monate Dezember, Januar und Februar mit. Es sei in Deutschland mit einer Durchschnittstemperatur von rund zwei Grad Celsius zu rechnen.
Der kommende Winter würde den Annahmen zufolge zu den 33 Prozent der mildesten Winter zwischen 1991 und 2020 gehören. Im Durchschnitt lag die Temperatur in diesem Zeitraum bei 1,4 Grad Celsius.
"Die Winterprognose des Deutschen Wetterdiensts ist für alle Energieverbraucher eine gute Nachricht", teilte Tobias Fuchs, DWD-Vorstand Klima und Umwelt, mit. "Sollte das Modell recht behalten, können wir dadurch Heizenergie einsparen."
Der DWD wies darauf hin, dass die Prognose auf saisonalen Klimavorhersagen basiere. Diese seien nicht mit der Verlässlichkeit von Wettervorhersagen vergleichbar. An einzelnen Tagen oder Wochen könne es auch deutlich kälter als die ermittelte Durchschnittstemperatur sein.
