Zwei junge Männer sterben bei Unfall mit Quad in Hessen
Zwei junge Männer sind am Sonntagabend im hessischen Hohenroda bei einem Unfall mit einem Quad ums Leben gekommen. Laut Polizei kam das Fahrzeug in einer Kurve von einer Landstraße ab und raste in einen Wald, wo es sich mehrfach überschlug. Der 19-Jährige und der 22-Jährige starben trotz der Bemühungen von Rettungskräften.
Wie die Beamten in Fulda weiter mitteilten, fuhren die beiden Männer zunächst mit dem Quad durch einen Graben und dann weiter in das Waldstück. Warum die Männer die Kontrolle über ihr Fahrzeug verloren, war unklar. Ein Sachverständiger wurde mit den Ermittlungen beauftragt.
