Bombendrohung in Sparkasse: Großeinsatz der Polizei in Bochum
Wegen einer Bombendrohung in einer Sparkasse ist die Polizei in Bochum am Dienstag zu einem Großeinsatz ausgerückt. Nach Angaben der Polizei betrat ein 40-jähriger Mann am Nachmittag im Stadtteil Wattenscheid die Filiale, stellte einen Koffer und eine Tasche ab und drohte damit, eine Bombe zu zünden.
Die Polizei sperrte das Gelände um die Sparkasse ab, evakuierte das Gebäude und konnte den 40-Jährigen festnehmen. Spezialisten des Landeskriminalamtes untersuchten daraufhin den Inhalt von Koffer und Tasche und gaben danach Entwarnung. Gefährliche Gegenstände fanden sich darin nicht.
Wie die Polizei weiter mitteilte, bestand zu keinem Zeitpunkt eine Gefährdung für die Menschen am Ort des Geschehens, auch gab es keine Verletzten. Bei dem Festgenommenen handele es sich um einen Syrer. Erste Hinweise deuteten auf eine psychische Erkrankung des Mannes hin. Er begebe sich nun freiwillig in eine psychotherapeutische Behandlung.
