Beyoncé gewinnt vier Grammys und bricht Rekord
US-Sängerin Beyoncé hat bei der diesjährigen Grammy-Verleihung in Los Angeles am Sonntag bereits vier Grammys erhalten. Damit hat die Künstlerin 32 Grammys - mehr als jeder andere Preisträger bisher. Beyoncé löste damit den 1997 verstorbenen Dirigenten Georg Solti ab, der mit 31 Grammys bisher Rekordhalter war.
Die in neun Kategorien nominierte 41-Jährige erhielt unter anderem den begehrten Grammy für das beste Album für ihr Werk "Renaissance". "Ich versuche, nicht zu emotional zu sein (...) und diesen Abend einfach nur zu genießen", sagte Beyoncé bei der Preisverleihung.
"Ich möchte meinen Eltern danken, meinem Vater und meiner Mutter, die mich geliebt und gefördert haben", fügte sie hinzu. "Ich danke meinem wundervollen Ehemann und meinen drei wundervollen Kindern, die zu Hause sind und zugucken."
