Deutlich mehr Flüge ins Ausland an deutschen Flughäfen
In diesem Sommer sind mehr als doppelt so viele Menschen von deutschen Flughäfen ins Ausland gereist als im Vorjahr. Die Hauptverkehrsflughäfen verzeichneten von April bis Oktober 54,6 Millionen Fluggäste, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Mittwoch mitteilte. Das sind 28,7 Millionen mehr als 2021, aber weiterhin 23 Prozent weniger als im Sommer 2019 vor der Corona-Pandemie.
Spanien war das beliebteste Reiseziel - fast neun Millionen Menschen flogen dorthin. Knapp 6,5 Millionen reisten in die Türkei, knapp vier Millionen nach Italien.
Auch der inländische Flugverkehr nahm zu, verzeichnete mit knapp 4,5 Millionen Fluggästen aber ein etwas leichteres Plus von gut 84 Prozent. Der gesamte Luftverkehr nahm in den Sommermonaten demnach um knapp 109 Prozent zu.
