Norwegens Staatsfonds erzielt 2021 Gewinn von 158 Milliarden Euro
Norwegens staatlicher Pensionsfonds hat angesichts der guten Entwicklung an den Aktienmärkten im vergangenen Jahr blendend verdient. Der Gewinn belaufe sich auf 1,58 Billionen Kronen (158 Milliarden Euro), teilte der Fonds am Donnerstag mit. Das entspreche einer Rendite von 14,5 Prozent. Norwegens Zentralbankchef Öystein Olsen nannte das Ergebnis "recht einträglich". Die Notenbank verwaltet den Fonds.
Das ölreiche Norwegen legte den Fonds in den Neunzigerjahren auf, um die Wirtschaft gegen die schwankenden Ölpreise abzusichern und die Leistungen des norwegischen Sozialstaats zu finanzieren. Der Gesamtwert des Fonds erreichte demnach Ende des Jahres 12,34 Billionen Kronen.
Fast drei Viertel des Kapitals (72 Prozent) waren 2021 an globalen Aktienmärkten angelegt, der Rest in Wertpapieren und Immobilien. Die Aktien im Portfolio des Fonds stiegen den Angaben zufolge um 20,8 Prozent; vor allem in den USA und in den Branchen Energie, Finanzen und Technologien waren die Kursgewinne hoch. Allein die drei US-Technologiekonzerne Microsoft, Alphabet (Mutter von Google) und Apple brachten dem Fonds Gewinne jeweils in zweistelliger Milliardenhöhe (in Kronen).
