"Spiegel": Bund will auch Gazprom-Tochter Sefe verstaatlichen
Nach der Verstaatlichung von Deutschlands größtem Gasimporteur Uniper will der Bund laut Bericht des "Spiegel" auch die frühere Gazprom-Tochter Germania in seinen Besitz nehmen. Die Securing Energy for Europe (Sefe) solle ebenfalls verstaatlicht werden, berichtete der "Spiegel" am Donnerstag ohne Nennung von Quellen. Sefe steht bereits unter Treuhandschaft des Bundes; diese läuft Ende September aus.
Der Einstieg des Bundes bei Sefe stehe "im Kontext der Rettung des Leipziger Gasimporteurs VNG", schrieb der "Spiegel". VNG bekam über die ehemalige Gazprom-Tochter Gas aus Russland. Der Ersatz, den VNG nun kaufen muss, um seine Verträge zu bedienen, kostet das Unternehmen laut "Spiegel" täglich einen niedrigen zweistelligen Millionenbetrag - der derzeit von Sefe getragen wird.
VNG hatte Anfang des Monats staatliche Unterstützung beantragt. Die geplante Übernahme von Sefe soll dem Bericht zufolge auch das Leipziger Unternehmen stützen.
Am Mittwoch hatte das Bundeswirtschaftsministerium bekanntgegeben, dass der wegen ausbleibender russischer Gaslieferungen schwer angeschlagene Uniper-Konzern verstaatlicht werden soll. Eine Ministeriumssprecherin erklärte auf AFP-Anfrage, innerhalb der Bundesregierung liefen Gespräche über die Zukunft von Sefe. Nähere Details könne sie aktuell nicht nennen.
