Ölförderländer einigen sich auf deutliche Produktionssenkung im November
Die in der Opec+-Gruppe vereinten Öl exportierenden Länder haben sich auf eine deutliche Produktionssenkung im November geeinigt. Die Förderung werde um zwei Millionen Barrel pro Tag reduziert, teilte die Opec+ am Mittwoch mit. Damit will das Bündnis den Preis stützen. Es ist die stärkste Senkung seit 2020 zu Beginn der Corona-Krise.
Der Ölpreis war zu Beginn des Ukraine-Kriegs stark gestiegen und hatte fast 140 Dollar (Euro) pro Barrel (159 Liter) erreicht. Seitdem sank er wieder; aktuell schwankt er für die Nordseesorte Brent und die US-Referenzsorte WTI um die 90 Dollar.
Die Opec+-Gruppe besteht aus den Opec-Ländern unter Führung von Saudi-Arabien sowie zehn weiteren Partnerländern, allen voran Russland. Sie hatten die Förderung bereits im Oktober gekürzt, allerdings nur leicht um 100.000 Barrel pro Tag.
