Bundestag will über Untersuchungsausschuss zu Afghanistan-Mission debattieren
Der Bundestag will in seiner Plenarsitzung am Donnerstag über einen Untersuchungsausschuss debattieren, der den Afghanistan-Einsatz der Bundeswehr und insbesondere den teils chaotischen Abzug der Truppen bewerten soll. Dabei soll es auch um deutsche Lageeinschätzungen vor dem raschen Zusammenbruch der afghanischen Sicherheitskräfte und der Machtübernahme der Taliban im August gehen. Zahlreiche Deutsche sowie einheimische Ortskräfte wurden nach dem Einmarsch der Radikalislamisten in der Hauptstadt Kabul aus Afghanistan ausgeflogen. Nach der Debatte wird der Antrag an den zuständigen Geschäftsordnungsausschuss überwiesen.
Der Bundestag entscheidet am Donnerstag auch über Verbesserungen beim Bafög und debattiert über den Bildungsbericht der Regierung. Ebenfalls zur Debatte steht der Tätigkeitsbericht des Petitionsausschusses. Außerdem entscheiden die Abgeordneten über den Antrag der Regierung auf Fortsetzung der deutschen Beteiligung an dem Unifil-Einsatz vor der libanesischen Küste sowie über Lockerungen von Beschaffungsregeln der Bundeswehr.
