Niedersachsens Gesundheitsminister für schnelles Ende letzter Maskenpflichten
Niedersachsens Gesundheitsminister Andreas Philippi (SPD) hat sich für ein Ende der Masken- und Testpflichten im Gesundheits- und Pflegebereich bereits zu Anfang März ausgesprochen. Er könne sich "gut vorstellen", diese Vorgaben zum Monatswechsel in etwa drei Wochen bundesweit aufzuheben, sagte Philippi der "Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung" laut Mitteilung vom Dienstag. Für die Regelung zuständig ist der Bund.
"Bundesgesundheitsminister Karl Lauterbach wird sich die Datenbasis noch einmal genau anschauen, und ich bin eigentlich ganz zuversichtlich, dass die wenigen verbliebenen Maskenpflichten noch vor dem 7. April fallen", fügte Philippi an. An diesem Tag läuft die Vorschrift aus, die den Zutritt zu Krankenhäusern und Pflegeheimen nur mit FFP2-Maske und dem Nachweis eines negativen Coronatests erlaubt. In Arztpraxen gilt demnach Maskenpflicht.
Die Schutzregelungen für den Gesundheits- und Pflegebereich gehören zu den letzten noch geltenden coronabedingten Einschränkungen, nachdem bereits zum 2. Februar die Pflicht zum Maskentragen im bundesweiten Bahnverkehr endete. Zeitgleich ließen auch die letzten Bundesländer entsprechende Vorgaben im Nahverkehr auslaufen. Auch die Isolationspflicht im Fall einer Coronainfektion fällt in den Ländern nach und nach weg.
