"Ein großes Werkstück": Scholz schürt Erwartungen an Ergebnis von Koalitionsausschuss
Am dritten Tag der Beratungen im Koalitionsausschuss hat Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) hohe Erwartungen an das Ergebnis formuliert. "Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass wir da ein großes Werkstück zustande bringen", sagte Scholz am Dienstag bei einem Treffen mit Kenias Präsident William Ruto im Berliner Kanzleramt. "Es geht um die größte Modernisierung unserer Volkswirtschaft, die vor uns liegt", sagte der Kanzler weiter. Mit Blick auf die Beratungen im Koalitionsausschuss fügte er hinzu: "Es wächst in dieser Diskussion auch die gemeinsame Vorstellung, dass wir das sind, die das machen müssen."
Details zu den diskutierten gemeinsamen Projekten der Koalition wollte Scholz nicht nennen. Die "hauptsächlichen Fragen" seien inzwischen gelöst, nun gehe es um die Klärung "vieler Details", sagte er. Die Koalition werde "jetzt Stück für Stück ein Gesamtwerk schaffen, das die Mühe gelohnt hat".
An die Journalistinnen und Journalisten im Kanzleramt gerichtet sagte Scholz mit Blick auf die erwarteten Beschlüsse: "Sie werden ein bisschen überrascht sein, was da drin ist." Die Koalition packe Projekte an, über die im Vorfeld in den Medien nicht berichtet worden sei.
Die ungewöhnlich lange Dauer der am Sonntagabend gestarteten Beratungen bezeichnete Scholz als "nicht verwunderlich". Er fügte hinzu: "Der mühselige Arbeits- und Verhandlungsprozess ist stellvertretend für die ganze Gesellschaft auf dem Weg in eine erfolgreiche wirtschaftliche Moderne." Am Ende werde sich zeigen: "Es wird sich gelohnt haben."
