Hans äußert sich erst nach Parteisitzungen im Saarland zu persönlichen Folgen
Nach der herben Wahlniederlage der CDU im Saarland hat deren Ministerpräsident Tobias Hans am Montag erneut persönliche Konsequenzen angekündigt. Einzelheiten nannte er bei einer Pressekonferenz mit CDU-Bundeschef Friedrich Merz aber zunächst auch weiterhin noch nicht. "Wir werden das heute in den Gremien der CDU Saar besprechen", sagte Hans nur. Diese sollten am Montagnachmittag und Montagabend tagen. "Dort wird es in Ruhe miteinander besprochen."
Anschließend werde die CDU auch "darlegen, wie es genau vonstatten geht", fügte Hans an. Er wiederholte zugleich seine Aussagen vom Wahlabend: Er werde "Verantwortung übernehmen und auch Konsequenzen ziehen", sagte der Regierungschef und saarländische CDU-Landeschef, der per Video aus Saarbrücken zugeschaltet war. Die CDU hatte mit ihm als Spitzenkandidat die Landtagswahl vom Sonntag klar verloren.
Laut vorläufigem Ergebnis stürzte die CDU von 40,7 Prozent auf 28,5 Prozent ab, während die von Vizeregierungschefin Anke Rehlinger geführte Saar-SPD 43,5 Prozent und eine absolute Sitzmehrheit im Landtag erreichte. Rehlinger kündigte an, eine Alleinregierung zu bilden.
