Leichter Zuwachs bei Ausbildungszahlen in Pflegebereich
Im vergangenen Jahr haben sich etwas mehr junge Menschen für eine Ausbildung zur Pflegefachkraft entschieden als im Vorjahr. 2021 begannen knapp 61.500 Menschen eine Ausbildung in dem Bereich, das waren sieben Prozent mehr als 2020, wie das Statistische Bundesamt am Dienstag in Wiesbaden mitteilte. Insgesamt waren zum Jahresende 2021 rund 105.000 Menschen in der Ausbildung zur Pflegefachkraft.
Weiter sind jedoch wenige Männer an der Ausbildung interessiert: Fast drei Viertel der jungen Menschen, die 2021 eine Ausbildung zur Pflegefachkraft begannen, waren Frauen. Erst seit zwei Jahren ist eine Ausbildung zur Pflegefachkraft in Deutschland möglich, zuvor gab es lediglich die getrennten Ausbildungsberufe der Kranken- und Altenpflege.
