"Unser tiefstes Beileid vom gesamten walisischen Fußballverband. Unsere Gedanken sind in dieser traurigen Zeit bei der Familie und den Freunden", schrieb der Verband via Twitter.
Der Mann war laut Medienberichten mit seinem Sohn und Freunden im Emirat unterwegs. Rund 2500 Anhänger unterstützen die Waliser während der Endrunde in Katar.
