Regenbogen-"Importeurin" Nilla Fischer (38) hat den Fußball-Weltverband FIFA für das WM-Verbot der "One Love"-Armbinde kritisiert. "Die FIFA überschreitet leider oft Grenzen – auch in diesem Fall", sagte die schwedische Ex-Nationalspielerin, die während ihrer Zeit beim VfL Wolfsburg die Regenbogenbinde in Deutschland populär gemacht hat, in der Bild am Sonntag.
Dass der deutsche Kapitän Manuel Neuer im ersten WM-Spiel gegen Japan (1:2) wegen des Verbots nicht mit der "One Love"-Binde aufgelaufen war, hat Fischer "ein wenig enttäuscht". Das gelte allerdings für alle eingeknickten Länder.
"Wenn du eine Haltung hast, musst du auch bereit sein, Konsequenzen zu tragen und dafür einstehen", äußerte Fischer: "Begeistert war ich hingegen von der deutschen Innenministerin Nancy Faeser, die sich mit der 'One Love'-Binde ins Stadion und neben Infantino gesetzt hat."
