Kilian fehlt dem 1. FC Köln mehrere Monate
Der abstiegsbedrohte Fußball-Bundesligist 1. FC Köln muss mehrere Monate auf Luca Kilian verzichten. Wie die Kölner mitteilten, hat sich der Innenverteidiger am Freitag im Training das Knie verdreht und eine Kreuzbandverletzung erlitten. Das ergab eine MRT-Untersuchung, nachdem Kilian die Einheit abgebrochen hatte.
FC-Trainer Timo Schultz hatte auf der Pressekonferenz nach dem Training erklärt, dass sich der 24-Jährige bei einer "unglücklichen Situation" mit Stürmer Davie Selke verletzt habe. Schultz befürchtete bereits einen langen Ausfall seines Verteidigers. Kilian lief in der aktuellen Saison 14 Mal für die Kölner auf.
