Früherer Kommunalpolitiker steht in Bochum wegen Kindesmissbrauchs vor Gericht
Vor dem Landgericht Bochum hat am Donnerstag der Prozess gegen einen früheren Kommunalpolitiker wegen des sexuellen Missbrauchs von Kindern und Jugendlichen begonnen. Dem 41 Jahre alten ehemaligen stellvertretenden Bürgermeister wird vorgeworfen, dass er sich zwischen 2018 und 2023 mehrmals mit Jugendlichen zu sexuellen Handlungen gegen Geld verabredet haben soll. Zu Prozessauftakt am Donnerstag habe er angekündigt, sich äußern zu wollen, sagte ein Gerichtssprecher.
Dazu habe er aber abwarten wollen, bis seine Hauptverteidigerin anwesend sei, die am Donnerstag gefehlt habe. Laut Anklage soll der Mann den 14- bis 17-Jährigen als Gegenleistung für sexuelle Handlungen meist 40 bis 100 Euro und einmal auch 500 Euro gegeben haben. Einige Male seien auch Nacktbilder ausgetauscht worden.
Mit einem zwölf- bis 13-jährigen Kind soll der Angeklagte außerdem einen stark sexualisierten Chatverkehr geführt haben. Obwohl er das Alter gekannt habe, habe er versucht, es zu einem Treffen und zu Oralverkehr zu überreden. Außerdem sollen bei dem Mann kinder- und jugendpornografische Bilder und Videos gefunden worden sein. Das Gericht setzte insgesamt acht Verhandlungstermine bis Ende April an.
