Haseloff äußert in Brief an Scholz Sorge um Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland
Sachsen-Anhalts Ministerpräsident Reiner Haseloff (CDU) hat sich in einem Brief an Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) besorgt über den Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland geäußert. Als problematisch bezeichnet der Regierungschef nach einer am Donnerstag in Magdeburg veröffentlichten Mitteilung vor allem die gravierenden Zunahme des Importes gasbasierter Produkte wie Harnstoff und Ammoniak, die bei der Düngemittelherstellung eingesetzt werden.
Allein die Harnstoffimporte nach Deutschland seien im ersten Halbjahr um 670 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr gestiegen. Der Marktanteil der Importware liege inzwischen bei 80 Prozent. Problematisch sei vor allem, dass ein Großteil davon aus Russland stamme. "Hatte Deutschland bereits einen kritischen Grad an Abhängigkeit bei Düngemitteln aus dem Ausland, so steigt diese Abhängigkeit nun weiter, und zwar von jenem Land, aus dessen Abhängigkeit Ihre Regierung Deutschland gerade herausführen wollte", schreibt Haseloff an den Kanzler.
Sanktionserleichterungen gegenüber Russland, die ursprünglich das russisch-ukrainische Getreideabkommen ermöglichen sollten, müssten daher auf EU-Ebene zurückgenommen werden. Die gesamte Düngemittelbranche in Deutschland produziere unter hohen Verlusten und könne damit kein Geld für grüne Investitionen generieren. Es entstünden zunehmend Wettbewerbsnachteile bei der Produktion in der EU, warnte Haseloff.
Er bekräftigte seine Forderung, dem entgegenzusteuern. Dazu zähle, den Spitzenlastenausgleich bei der Stromsteuer nicht zu streichen sowie wirksame Hilfsinstrumente für die energieintensive Industrie wie einen Industriestrompreis einzuführen.
Haseloff hatte sich mit anderen Ministerpräsidenten von CDU/CSU und SPD zu einer Allianz zum Erhalt der chemischen Industrie in Deutschland zusammengeschlossen, die auf bessere Rahmenbedingungen dringt.
