Hilfe für Doncic: Mavericks holen viermaligen Allstar Walker
Die Dallas Mavericks aus der Basketball-Profiliga NBA haben nach ihrem durchwachsenen Saisonstart personell nachgelegt. Der Klub des deutschen Nationalspieler Maxi Kleber verpflichtete den erfahrenen viermaligen Allstar Kemba Walker, der allerdings seit Mitte Februar nicht mehr gespielt hat.
Dallas hat neun Spiele gewonnen und zehn verloren, zuletzt setzte es vier Pleiten in Serie. Um Platz im Kader für Walker (32) zu schaffen, trennten sich die Mavericks vom Italiener Facundo Campazzo (31).
Point Guard Walker soll dabei helfen, Mavs-Starspieler Luka Doncic zu unterstützen. Mitte Oktober hatten sich die Detroit Pistons von Walker getrennt. Für das Team aus der Motor City machte der Routinier kein Spiel.
