Kohl angelte sich einst Schweinebraten von Wüsts Teller
Eine Begegnung mit Altkanzler Helmut Kohl ist dem nordrhein-westfälischen Ministerpräsidenten Hendrik Wüst (beide CDU) besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben: Bei einem Abendessen habe Kohl zwei Plätze weiter gesessen und zu seinem deutlich jüngeren Parteikollegen gesagt, "Bub, du musst mehr essen", erzählte der Ministerpräsident laut Mitteilung vom Dienstag bei einer Veranstaltungsreihe der "Rheinischen Post".
Als er abgewunken habe, habe Kohl über den Mann zwischen beiden hinweg mit seiner Gabel ein Stück Schweinebraten von Wüsts Teller gefischt. "Wir anderen hatten alle zwei Stücke, er hatte schon drei und hat sich das vierte noch von mir geangelt", sagte Wüst bei der Veranstaltung. "Das ist wirklich wahr."
