AC Milan posted on Wednesday a profit of three million euros ($3.4 million) for the 2024/25 season, on the day they completed the acquisition of the San Siro stadium alongside local rivals Inter Milan.

Serie A giants Milan's accounts are in the black for the third consecutive season, although down by 1.1 million euros on profits from the 2023/24 campaign.

That drop in profits came despite Milan recording club-record revenues of 494.5 million euros up to June 30, 2025.

Milan's accounts will take a hit this term due to a lack of European football following a dreadful 2024/25 season on the pitch.

Massimiliano Allegri took charge of Milan in the summer and currently has his team in third in Serie A, one point behind leaders Napoli.

Milan and Inter both had cause for joy on Wednesday thanks to the acquisition from the city of Milan of the land on which the San Siro sits.

The two clubs, crowned European champions 10 times between them, can now push ahead with a project worth around 1.2 billion euros which will radically change an area of just over 28 hectares (70 acres) purchased for 197 million euros.

Inter announced profits of 35.4 million euros shortly before the city of Milan voted in favour of the sale of the San Siro in late September.
